IPS Prizewinning Photography Lite | Dallas

This weekend I was blessed to be able to assist Sarah Danaher with IPS Prizewinning Photography Lite for a group of young ladies here in Dallas! The girls learned about camera basics, emotional impact and composition in your pictures, portraiture... and just had a good time learning more about their cameras and how to take better pictures. I recommend IPS, the Institue of Photographic Studies, to anyone considering going into photography as a professional, or even if you simply just want to take better pictures. IPS is where you can expect to encounter God, discover vision, and photograph life. The Lord has used the IPS significantly in my own personal life!

The first day, we took the IPS PWP Lite Students to the Dallas Heritage Park on a photoshoot for their assignments. On the second day, we took the students to Knox Street where they could wander around on the streets and in the shops looking for photographic material... of course, the photoshoot was not complete without a stop at Starbucks coffee! Take a look at some of my images from the fantastic weekend we had!
